Why rent a Tesla Y?
I have already had quite a few rentals, but largely from people overseas who are more familiar with the car rental app concept. What you will find, so I understand, is that it is much better value to rent through the Turo app than to go to a standard car rental company.
Add to that the low running costs of an EV, and the 300-mile range of a Tesla Y and it may just be the ideal vehicle for a romantic staycation/ weekend away. A recent renter was a father from Thailand who wanted something to attend his son’s graduation at Reading Uni and then use to sight-see.
